The RYA Improver Windsurfing Course at X-Train, West Wittering
The RYA Improver Windsurfing Course is designed to take your windsurfing to the next level. It includes:
An introduction to planing, Harness, Footstraps, Stance, Gust control, Faster tacking, Gybes
X-Train use land-based simulation, on-the-water demos and group coaching to help each student build on their current windsurfing skills whilst helping them understand how they can learn individually.
All of the teaching is on the latest windsurfing boards from RRD and windsurfing sails from Ezzy. The teaching is on West Wittering’s flat-water lagoons which provide the ideal shallow, bump-free environment for learning planing windsurfing effectively.
We endeavour to give you a great experience that whilst improving your windsurfing is a lot of fun too!
We provide you with everything you need to participate, inlcuding a high-quality, single lined glued and blind-stitched wetsuit and a harness.
All instructors carry UHF radios, we have jet-ski rescue and there are life-guards on the beach in the summer months.
We also have a warm, dry club house with hot showers, changing rooms and as much tea and coffee as you want so you can eat your lunch in comfort. In fact, the only thing you need to bring is your towel.
All of our instructors are fully RYA-qualified and are hand-picked to ensure you have the best learning experience.
