BKSA Advanced Kitesurfing Courses / Clinics at X-Train, West Wittering
Once you are happy kitesurfing up and down and staying upwindm, these courses are designed to take your kitesurfing to the next level. They cover:
- Intro to jumping, transitions and back rolls, riding toeside
- Jumping and kitelooping
- Intro to wavekiting using a wave board and gybing
X-Train use land-based simulation, on-the-water demos and group coaching to help each kitesurfer build on their current knowledge and skills in order to reach their goal.
All of the teaching uses the latest kitesurfing kites and boards from RRD. West Wittering Windsurf Club have RRD Placebo boards and Passion and Obsession kites that are ideal to help your progression. You can of course, use your own equipment if you would prefer.
The teaching mostly takes place on West Wittering’s superb flat-water, tidal lagoons at low tide. The wave teaching takes place in the low-mid tide waves.
We provide you with everything you need to participate, inlcuding a high-quality, single lined glued and blind-stitched wetsuit, harness and helmet. We also have a warm, dry club house with hot showers, changing rooms and as much tea and coffee as you want so you can eat your lunch in comfort. In fact, the only thing you need to bring is your towel.
All of our instructors are fully BKSA-qualified and are hand-picked to ensure you have the best learning experience.
All instructors carry UHF radios, we have jet-ski rescue and there are life-guards on West Wittering beach in the summer months.
