West Wittering Windsurf Club Membership
WWWC is organised to provide facilities for its club members and to promote safe co-existence with other beach users – both on and off the water. The newly built changing rooms provide a lookout post and a place to shelter from the elements. Membership includes:
- Access to windsurf and kitesurf on West Wittering’s private beach
- Showers and changing rooms – open all year
- Club kitchen and lounge area – with sea view
- X-train windsurfing, kitesurfing, paddlesurf and surf tuition
- GPS speed watch available for members
- Windsurf, kitesurf, SUP, surf, surf kayak and body board hire
- Equipment hire packages available to members without gear
- Juniors – Rippers tuition and junior coaching
- Weekly weather info sent by email
- Free entertainment & refreshments – TV, video and free tea and coffee making facilities
- Summer social events – including barbecues, meet new like-minded peopled
- Full time Safety Officer/Club Manager on hand seven days a week (mid-March to October 30th)

The variety of sea conditions makes West Wittering a challenging and exciting location for windsurfers and kitesurfers of all abilities. Pro riders including Nik Baker, Jamie Hawkins, Jamie Hancock, Peter Hart, Stu Holland, Billy Wheaton, Jem Hall, Jim Collis, Emile Kott, Neal Gent and Kiteworld test teams are regular visitors. West Wittering has been voted UK no1 beach by the Keep Britain Tidy Group.
