Tuition
Do you teach children?
X-Train at West Wittering Windsurf Club specialise in teaching kids how to windsurf, surf, SUP and kite. We run kids courses throughout the season. For more information, have a look at our kids courses page.
Am I strong enough to windsurf / kitesurf?
With new, modern light-weight gear, it is now easier than ever to learn these great sports. We are teaching kids as young as 5 how to windsurf, so strength really is no longer an issue!
Can I book a course with my friends?
No problem. If you want to do something slightly different for a party etc, just give us a call on 01243 513077 and we can help you organise it.
What is SUP?
SUP is short for Stand Up Paddle Boarding. It is an ancient hawaiian sport that has become hugely popular over the last few years. You stand on a large surfboard and use a long paddle to propel yourself forwards. The extra power from the paddle and the large board means that you can catch smaller waves a lot earlier than on a traditional surfboard. X-Train offers SUP tuition for all levels.
What do I need to bring to a course?
Most of our courses use our equipment including wetsuits, so all you need to bring is a towel to dry off afterwards. If you have a full day course, we would reccomend bringing a packed lunch (we have a fridge that you can use for storage). There is also a local cafe.
How long before the course should I show up?
It is best to turn up 20 minutes to half an hour before your course is due to start, so any necessary paperwork can be completed and you can be suited and booted and ready to start on time
